My Brother Got a Job: Petco Rocks!

One of the reasons this blog was started was to post information about jobs. How to interview, where to look and the success stories of those people out of work who found something new, etc. I’m so pleased to say that my brother is now employed. After almost a year of looking for a job he has started at Petco. My brother decided college was not the route for him and went straight to work at a shoe company. He left the shoe company because he was not happy and even though it took a while, he is now employed. Stores like Petco, Lowes and Nordstroms need part-time help, especially with students going back to school. If my brother can do it, others can too.

Writing Blogs Can Get You Jobs

While applying for work, get involved in other areas (internship, volunteer, contract, etc.) so that there is no lapse in your work history. Make a schedule for time you will put toward applying for jobs and time you will put toward bettering yourself. A jobless and homeless woman scored a job with Elle by writing a blog. Read more about it below.
