Chipotle Mexican Grill committed to helping the local community. They are going to start a local produce program this summer with more than 25 local farmers in their network. They will have these farmers supplying them with romaine lettuce, green bell peppers, jalapeno peppers, red onions and/or oregano. The produce grown at these local farms will be distributed nationally to over 860-nationwide Chipotle restaurants. They are expected to buy more then 10% more produce than last year.
