Lessons from a Street Smart Entrepreneur

It’s always validating to hear other people saying some of the same things I do. Not that I think I’m always right, because I don’t. It’s more like positive reinforcement. Especially when it is coming from someone who has “been there, done that.” I found a great blog post from Jay Goltz on CNNmoney.com. He’s got a lot of experience as a business owner, has been through several economic downturns and has a strategic approach to how to handle business as it shifts. Don’t become paralyzed or reactive with your business decisions. Instead, think about the best ways to make the company better for everyone, including your employees, vendors and clients.
